The target of the project goes towards the producing of the book, so we don't offer advances as this would greatly increase the funding target.

After the project reaches 100% and the book is published any profit that Unbound receives for sales is split 50/50 between the author and Unbound. So, although there is no advance, authors get all of the benefits of having their book published by a publisher and get more of the profits than with a traditional publisher.
